We are based in beautiful North Devon, we share our office building with a herd of pygmy goats, they get the bigger half of the building, but we get the warmer half.
These are the Welsh twins checking us in on a slightly warmer day than today!
The smallholding that we reside on is also the home for llamas, goats, chickens and dogs, with the occasional lamb and pig! However most of these animals are in fields well away from our office.
It is a quiet place to work except when the rain hammers down onto the tin roof of our office and then it can be a bit deafening. We are about 8 miles west of Bideford just off the Atlantic Highway and whilst we are just a mile or so from the sea we look south over wonderful countryside and on a good day we can see some of the Tors on Dartmoor, over 30 miles away. Today we can hardly see to the bottom of the first field it is so wet & misty.
We have recently smartened our office up and have a wide selection of our products here for the visitor to see, however, we do recommend that you call first as the office is not always manned.
Check out our local website www.bidefordheating.co.uk for details.

Expanding our product lines!
Multiheat is entering its 9th year of being in business.
Business has been steady in the last few years but it is time to step up a gear.
We have been specialists in selling infrared heating systems, for home, for office, for sport, for health, for fitness, just about anywhere you need heat infrared has a solution.
Yes, infrared uses electricity to operate but it uses it efficiently and uses less of it than traditional electric heating systems, and depending on how it is used it gives traditional energy sources a run for their money to.
We aim to stay in that market, selling affordable, energy efficient electric heating systems.
So, if electricity is your only source of power, or you are looking for an alternative heating system rather than using oil or bottled gas, or whether you are looking for a product that will provide a bit of top up heating when it really isn't worth turning your central heating system on, then please bear us in mind!

Multiheat goes networking!
It is very easy when you work for yourself to become quite insulated from what else is going on out there in the real world. For me, that is the main reason I go business networking. To actually meet up with other business folk & to chat about - well - business things!
I'm not a great one for formal networking - you know, the stuff where you get up early for breakfast and have to do a 30 second elevator pitch as a way to introduce yourself to everyone around the table - apart from anything else, getting up to go out for breakfast is a problem as I have my "farm" role to do before work & breakfast tends to happen around 10am, and for another once you have introduced yourself to everyone around the table, they have all made up there minds they don't want what you have to sell and don't talk to you anymore anyhow!
So, I go out to lunch once a month with the North Devon Business Alliance - nearly always the last Friday of each month (December is the normal exception for obvious reasons) - where we have an informal gathering of chatting to everyone who turns up, sometimes there are only 6 or so of us, other times nearly 20, sit down for a nice lunch, swap stories, swap business cards as appropriate, more chatting after lunch and then home!
I find it a very good way to unwind from the pressures of being on my own most of the working month, and very occasionally I even get some business from it too!
Do you go networking, if so, what do you aim to get out of it?

So, who is Multiheat?
Our product range should be seen as part of a bigger picture of home
improvements to help save energy and have a return on investment over a
short period of time. Our heating panels are compatible with solar PV
installations.
Multiheat have been selling these panels in the UK and Europe for over five years and are experienced in heating various types of buildings and situations, from large hot yoga studios, skittle alleys, garden offices, to complete homes and extensions, and with hundreds of very satisfied customers, we are always happy to discuss your project, just give us a ring!
Our particular heating panels have been developed by Austrian technicians and laboratories in co-operation with Japanese and German suppliers for the European market, and manufactured in China, they have been widely available in Europe for many years where infrared heating has been a popular choice for heating homes, offices or the workplace for more than 15 years.
Our office and warehouse is based in beautiful rural North Devon, set in the grounds of an eleven acre smallholding, home of llamas, pygmy goats and chickens.
