Infrared radiation is a natural phenomena that is all around us - from the infrared given off by the sun where it can make us feel warm even on cold days to ....well us - we radiate out infrared which is why police helicopters can find you in the dark with their infrared cameras - it's not the cameras radiating infrared but detecting it!
With the wonders of modern day science we can now radiate infrared through infrared heating panels! The above picture shows the three main sizes (120cm, 90cm & 60cm * 60cm) & the three main colours (black, white & mirror)! They all function the same way - a special formula sits between the glass & the aluminium frame and when it gets hot it radiates out infrared on the glass side & it is the infrared that makes you feel warm!
