More to the point do you boil too much water in your kettle when you do?
A big outflow of tweets yesterday in my timeline (you can find me on Twitter HERE) about the number of times that you boil the kettle each day and whether you only boil enough water for your needs or whether you always fill the kettle regardless!
Some £68 million pounds worth of energy is wasted each year by kettles boiling unneeded water (according to some news website I read yesterday)!
I boil a kettle for 3 to 4 times a day for my allotted cups of tea - always add a little extra water, but not too much - and at weekends I might have one more! A sort of treat!
Are you wasting money by boiling too much water - is it second nature always to fill up the kettle regardless?
