The infrared warmth that you get from the sun can be had indoors!

As the arrival of a late summer gives us some warm sunshine to enjoy just as the kids have gone back to school, it is also time to plan for your winter heating needs.

The infrared warmth that you get from the sun can be had indoors with our energy efficient range of infrared panel heaters.

Why energy efficient? Well two reasons really, and possibly three!

Firstly, the infrared radiating from the panels heat the room itself, bypassing the air and heating the floor, the walls and other objects, including you if you are in the room. These objects start to radiate warmth back into the room giving you that nice all round feeling of warmth! The air does get warm, but as a bi-product of everything  else being warm.

Secondly, there is very little wastage of energy, 98% of the energy put into the infrared panel heater is converted into infrared. All of the infrared is used to heat the room! Compare this with energy losses of wet radiators systems, all those pipes between rooms where heat is lost, the extra energy required to run the pump to move the water around the system etc...

The third reason is that as an electric heating the infrared heaters can be controlled in zones, each room can be a zone, or you can have two zones (upstairs and downstairs) or you can split your home/office into as many zones as are required. Central heating systems are just that, they are controlled centrally. If you work from home and you need to heat just one room, you can't without turning the whole system on. Of course you can buy an extra heater, if you do, consider infrared heating!
