What's the difference between near infrared and far infrared?
Near infrared glows red/orange & therefore is relatively inefficient when compared to far infrared which gives off no light whatsoever. In fact a far infrared heating panel will look the same whether it is on or off!
We do sell a few near infrared outdoor heaters, ideal for patios, under gazebos or for smoking areas outside offices or public houses.
This is where you will really notice the difference, the near infrared heaters give out a much fiercer heat, perfect for those outdoor areas where there is little or no insulation or shelter!
