I am always very wary of companies who say they can save me huge amounts
of money with grand claims. Because of this I am wary too of giving
false claims on our own website, we try to state the facts and let the
customer work out for themselves how much money they could save.

The sun and natural infrared
The sun produces many different types of rays, from microwaves to visible light to X-rays.
Only rays that fall in a certain spectrum (0.75 to 15 microns) do the heating.
These rays are called infrared rays:-
It is important therefore that an infrared heating panel produces most of its infrared rays in this optimum spectrum. INFRAPOWER panels, the ones that Multiheat sell, produce 99.82% of its output in this far range and more than 90% of it in the optimum spectrum (6 to 10 microns).
As tested by Seibersdord Laboratories in Austria.

Do you have a facebook page? We do!
Facebook - a social media site - nowadays we all have to be on facebook don't we?
Of course as a business you have to have a "Page" - a business page - if you try and promote a business from a personal page you are likely to get your profile removed as explained in this blog over at NDBA - http://www.ndba.org.uk/internet/social-media-internet/facebook-for-business-are-you-doing-it-right
Multiheat has a facebook page which you can find here - https://www.facebook.com/multiheat?ref=hl - and over there we post pictures, receive testimonials, promote our offers and much much more.
This next month or so we are promoting our facebook page with the aim of increasing our number of likes from 143 (as of this morning) to 250 or more. At the end of the month we will draw someone at random and they will win an outdoor electric infrared patio heater - RRP was £219.99 but if you cannot wait until then why not buy one now on our website here:- http://www.multiheat-energysystems.co.uk/shop-2/special-offers/outdoor-infrared-heater
Please help spread the word - lots of likes would be good - tell me about your page and I'll like back!

watts = volts x amps
It's easy when you know how, but we often don't know, do we?
I do remember learning this at school and it has never really been of any use until I found myself in a business that sold products that used electricity.
Whilst our products are rated in watts we then find that our electrician will tell us that watts = volts x amps and that this is important when we choose switches, timers or thermostats to control our Multiheat Infrared Panels. How do we use this formula to then calculate what we really need.
Well....
It is easy to fall into the trap that are thermostats are created equal. This is not the case.
At Multiheat we take care with this issue and only recommend thermostats that are capable of performing safely with our panels.
It is an easy mistake to assume that the simple wall mounted thermostat often use to control central heating will work with our panels. These thermostats are generally only rated at about 1.5 amps so using the above formula and assuming mains voltage to be 230 volts these will only safely switch a load of 345 watts so would only safely work with our 250 watt panel.
What we need to do is add together all the wattages of the panels we wish to control from a single thermostat or timer and divide by 230 to give us the require current rating in amps.
Therefore 3 of our 850 watt panels connected together will equal 2550 watts, divided by 230 equals about 11 amps so we need to choose a thermostat with at least that rating.
Please get in touch if you need more details or check out our website:-

Can I use an infrared heater in a bathroom?
Can I use an infrared heater in a bathroom?
Yes, the panels are IP54 rated for use in the bathrooms and wet-rooms.
The heater is splash proof and should be positioned in zone 3 away from the bath or shower. Ideally it should be above where you stand, fairly central to the room; the rays
need to reach all areas of the room to warm the walls and floor which in turn will warm the whole room.
If the heating panel is left on for long periods it will also help reduce condensation in the bathroom and maintain a cosy warm feeling.
Mirror infrared heating panels are excellent in the bathroom.
This is one a few FAQ (frequently asked question) that we are asked regularly - for more check out this PDF on our website:-
