Wasted energy due to lack of control!

Any heating system can waste a considerable amount of energy by not being controlled properly or efficiently!

For example if you set a thermostat to heat your house to 22 degrees Centigrade but have to open a window because the house gets too hot, then by turning the thermostat down just one degree can save you money and effort in having to open the window.

Another example is to have the timer turn the heating off as you leave for work each morning. By turning the heating off half an hour before you leave home will again save you loads, and the house will hold the heat for that long so you are not going to get cold!

What can you do to save money and energy?
